Re: Raspberry Pi is Overrated!

I also think people are using Pis in many applications where an Arduino would make much more sense. No worries about boot time, kernel updates, Linux hackers, much less power required. Also, nowadays some Arduinos use ARM processors that are much faster than the original and have enough memory, and ...

Re: America's Got Talent should accept less singers

I do agree singers have other shows they can compete on, so only very special ones (if any) should get to AGT.
In fact if we are to select based on "Talent" we should not hear anybody's story until they are eliminated or they win.
Now THAT's talent; that wins on talent alone!

"SevenHugs" should be more open about what "HugOne" does.

If you look at their website " https://sevenhugs.com/en/hugone/ " you might feel like the "HugOne" is the best thing that happened to sleep since sliced bread. If you're a technical person, you might wonder how they do what they claim, as some of the claims are no small feat, and some claims feel .....

Governments should drastically subsidize/reduce shipping cost of small parcels

Or find other ways so make it cheaper. It may actually fix the economy! The cost of shipping goods should keep-up with globalization and data costs. Governments should have a good look at all categories of “local” merchandise that would have a chance at competing with China if shipping wasn’t an obs...

Banking and the Stock market should go "Back to Basics"

The only reason for "top bankers" to have such high salaries is that they constantly invent new ways of moving money around in such esoteric ways that they make people think that they create value when in fact they create ZERO value (we exclude here the the only useful tools: simple loans that enabl...

How should Mrs. Clinton take responsibility for her actions?

Recently Mrs. Clinton said she's taking full responsibility for the mistake she made about the emails. I won't get into how big a mistake it was; I think she feels that since nothing happened, it's not a big deal. I don't know if that's true; things may still happen in the future; how do we know. Bu...

Why I think Mr. Trump should win the elections.

I don't think Mr. Trump is perfect; far from it. But he seems more real and honest. Even in not wanting to release his tax information there's some honesty :-) (Would YOU want to release your taxes?) Even in upsetting people. Even in saying stupid things. The main reason I think Mr. Trump may be a b...

Mr. Donald Trump and/or Mrs. Hillary Clinton should distinguish between corporate and personal taxes

I am not an authority on politics/economics, nor have I seen/read/heard all that was said on the subject, so what I have to say may have been said before; however this is what I think: I do agree with Mr. Trump that reducing corporate taxes (coupled with new import taxes) might help keep business in...

Re: How should one discuss politics?

I think it depends who you are:
Politicians already have an agenda and will try to convince you they are right.
The rest of us may already have convictions or may be looking for them.
Good luck!

Re: Restaurants spend too much on décor and not enough on food

I do agree that food quality is most important AS LONG as decor is not downright bad (simple, even old is OK, dirty isn't, in my opinion). I also agree that a new restaurant might be better-off by starting to concentrate on the food quality than decor, but once established I think it can be good to ...
