Men's pants are sized very perfectly with 2 numbers that you know will fit you every time. I understand this is difficult to implement for women due to changing styles and other factors, but this is not what I expect!
I think we need to have some guidelines as to how much of a difference each size should be. There needs to be less variance, and all stores should follow the same sizing rules unless you're specifically a store for petite or plus sized people.
Here are some reasons why:
- When online shopping, you no longer will worry about clothes not fitting you and having to check complicated sizing numbers that some stores don't even provide
- No need to try on 20 clothing items before you buy them when a store has a huge sale
- No disappointment in seeing a beautiful piece of clothing in your size... except it's not really your size
