Never stop trying. Everyone is different and want different things in life. Let you voice be heard, so that in another 100 years the values you so treasure today may have a chance to survive.

I think it depends who you are:
Politicians already have an agenda and will try to convince you they are right.
The rest of us may already have convictions or may be looking for them.

Does not matter how hard one tries to avoid politics, it finds its way to a dinner table; an office; a meeting room...
Why is it so hard? We all have different opinions and sometimes strong opinions.
How should you approach the subject if you must?

Surely there are many more and I look forward to your suggestions.
