Shouldn't Canada have an uncorrupted liberal government?

Post by justice »

The finance minister Bill Morneau’s father sold 200K shares (about 3millions CAD) in family company Morneau Shepell days before tax changes announced.
Shouldn’t this be considered insider trading?

The most infamous insider trading case is probably Martha Stewart’s back in 2004. All together the case was about “by selling when she did, Martha Stewart avoided losses of 40,000 something dollars”. Besides having to pay fines she actually went to prison for it.

Want to see how the prime minister defends Bill Morneau in the House of Commons yesterday? Here is a video

Amazing how in politics there seems to be no requirement to answer direct questions!
